It’s been a while since I wrote my last blog post. In a meanwhile, I’ve been working to make further improvements to my calculator app. In fact, I just released version 1.4.0 which now includes sub-display area where it shows the calculation expression in progress and option to share the app with friends. Percentage calculation was also included in the previous version which I actually realized was a useful function as well, so the app keeps evolving more and more!
I really like keeping implementing the enhancements to try bringing things closer to perfection. I know there’s nothing perfect in the world, but I like things which are well-thought out, diligently elaborated to pursue perfection. When you look at and use these products, you can feel it.
It would be interesting to get more feedback from users to get improvements ideas. The app got some more downloads now (more from Amazon Appstore than Google Play Store), but I haven’t received much feedback yet. So for that, I have implemented an option for the users to be able to contact me by email, and also to easily share the app with friends, whether by QR code, email or social media. I hope these changes will help this app to reach out to more users (and hopefully people will be happy with the calculator and enjoy using it), and get some more feedbacks. Well, we’ll see…
Right now, I still have some more improvements ideas. And then, slowly I’m starting to think about the next new app.
さて、前回のブログ記事を書いて以来、久しぶりの更新です。そのあいだ何をしていたかというと、電卓アプリにさらなる改良を加えていました。実はちょうど昨日、バージョン1.4.0をリリースしたばかりなのですが、本バージョンには、画面上部への途中経過の計算式表示機能やアプリ共有オプションなどが新たに実装されています。また、一つ前のバージョンでもパーセント計算の機能を追加しており（パーセント計算って実はけっこう便利ですね）、本アプリはどんどん進化しています。
改良に改良を重ねて、完璧に近づけていくというものづくりが私は好きです。この世の中、完璧なものなどないということは分かっていますが、それでもよく考えられて作られたもの、細かいところまで気を配り、完璧な状態に限界まで近づけるよう念入りに作り込まれたものというのはいいですね。そういう物というのは、見て、使ってみるとその良さが実感できるように思います。
ところで、実際にアプリを使ってみた人たちから、もっといろいろな感想や改良のアイデアなどがいただければよいのですが、今のところまだあまりフィードバックがありません。ダウンロード数は少しづつ増えてきたのですが（Google Play ストアよりAmazon アプリストアの方がダウンロード数は多いようです）、今後さらに多くの人たちにこのアプリを知っていただきフィードバックを得られるために、メールによるお問い合わせや、QRコードやソーシャルメディアによる友達との共有などの選択肢もメニューに実装してみました。これらの追加がはたしてどれほどの効果をもたらすか・・・。
今のところは、まだいくつか改良案があり、今後はそちらの方を実装していきたいと思っています。そして、そろそろ次の新しいアプリのアイデアも少しづつ考えはじめています。
Il est longtemps depuis que j’ai écrit mon dernier blog post. Dans un même temps, j’ai travaillé pour apporter de nouvelles améliorations à mon appli calculatrice. En fait, je viens de publier la version 1.4.0 qui inclut désormais la zone d’affichage secondaire où il montre l’expression de calcul en cours et la possibilité de partager l’appli avec des amis. Calcul en pourcentage a également été inclus dans la version précédente que j’ai effectivement réalisé était une fonction utile et, si l’appli ne cesse d’évoluer de plus en plus!
J’aime vraiment garder la mise en œuvre des améliorations pour essayer apporter des choses de plus près à la perfection. Je sais qu’il n’y a rien de parfait dans le monde, mais j’aime les choses qui sont bien pensés, avec diligence élaboré pour poursuivre la perfection. Quand vous regardez et utilisez ces produits, vous pouvez le sentir.
Il serait intéressant d’obtenir plus de commentaire des utilisateurs pour obtenir des améliorations idées. L’appli a un peu plus de téléchargements maintenant (plus de Amazon Appstore que Google Play Store), mais je n’ai pas encore reçu beaucoup de commentaires. Donc, pour cela, j’ai mis en place une option pour les utilisateurs d’être en mesure de me contacter par mail, et également de partager facilement l’appli avec des amis, que ce soit par QR code, e-mail ou les médias sociaux. J’espère que ces changements contribueront à l’appli de tendre la main à plus d’utilisateurs (et j’espère que les gens seront heureux avec la calculatrice et profiter de l’utiliser), et obtenir des commentaires plus. Eh bien, nous allons voir…
En ce moment, j’ai encore quelques autres améliorations idées. Et puis, lentement, je commence à penser à la prochaine nouvelle appli.
